General Info about Rhodes Airport
Rhodes Airport “Diagoras” is the fourth busiest airport in Greece and the 72th busiest airport in Europe by passenger traffic. In 2022, it handled 5.857.036 passengers, a 74% increase from 2021. It is used by over 40 airlines flying to more than 90 destinations in 24 different countries.
The airport has one runway (with a length of 3,306m) along with two operational terminals, which cover 21.000 square meters.

‘Diagoras’ does not have air bridges, so boarding and disembarking require the use of buses.

Rhodes Airport is named after Diagoras, an Ancient Greek boxer (5th century BC), who was celebrated for his own victories, as well as the victories of his sons and grandsons.
