Mykonos Airport is the tenth busiest airport in Greece. In 2021, it handled 1.011.244 396.066 passengers, a 155% increase from 2020. The airport has one runway (with a length of 1.903 m) along with one operational terminal, which covers 13.350 square meters.

Mykonos is a Greek island, lying between Tinos, Syros and Paros. There are 10,134 inhabitants according to the 2011 census, most of whom live in the largest town, Mykonos, which lies on the west coast. It was named after its first ruler, Mykonos, the son or grandson of the god Apollo.
