Paros Airport, also known as "Panteleou Paros Airport", is the 16th busiest airport in Greece by passenger traffic. In 2023, it handled 323.716 passengers.
It mainly serves flights to and from Athens, along with some seasonal flights from other destinations.

History and Development:
The first airport on Paros opened in 1982. It had a small runway of approximately 710 meters, accommodating only small aircraft and limited flights, mainly domestic. The small capacity and basic facilities could not keep up with the growing demand, especially during the tourist season.
The new Paros Airport opened on July 25, 2016, replacing the old facility.
It has a runway of 1,400 meters, allowing for the landing of larger aircraft. This upgrade significantly enhanced the airport's capacity and service quality.

Paros' main communities are Parikia and Naoussa. The capital, Parikia, is situated on a bay on the north-west side of the island.
